About The Motherhood Brief
Motherhood comes with a lot of decisions. Some are big. Some seem small. And many come with far more questions than we expected.
The Motherhood Brief was created to make some of those decisions feel a little easier to navigate.
Why I created The Motherhood Brief
Hi, I'm Ishmeet, a mom of two boys and the person behind The Motherhood Brief.
Like so many mothers, I found myself constantly researching, planning, saving information, asking questions and learning as I went.
From navigating maternity leave and returning to work, to raising children, managing food allergies, finding products that actually make family life easier, and making decisions about how we want our children to learn and grow, motherhood has taught me how valuable the right information can be at the right time.
I also realized how often that information is scattered across dozens of websites, government pages, social media posts and conversations with other parents.
The Motherhood Brief grew from that experience.
I wanted to create a place where practical information could be brought together thoughtfully and turned into resources that are actually useful in everyday motherhood.
What you'll find here
The Motherhood Brief is a growing collection of practical guides, free resources, thoughtful recommendations and real life insights for different seasons of motherhood.
You'll find resources around maternity leave and returning to work, allergy aware living, learning and family life, along with products and recommendations that have genuinely been useful to us.
Some resources come from lessons I've learned personally. Others begin with the questions I found myself researching as a mother.
Everything is created with the same goal: to make useful information easier to find, understand and actually use.
Motherhood, with intention.
There is no single right way to do motherhood.
The Motherhood Brief isn't here to tell you how to parent.
It's here to give you thoughtful information, practical tools and useful resources so you can make the decisions that feel right for your own family.
Welcome to The Motherhood Brief. I'm glad you're here.
